Smart Habit Saturday

I did it!! Well, I missed one measly little day this week. Better than I was doing, right? So, This week I give myself an humongous...
If I'd have gotten it done every day, it would have been an A+++, so an A is great. :o) I'll take it.
I LOVE having my bed made, because it seems to make the whole room cleaned. Even when I still have clothes I don't know what to do with, so they just sit there staring at me. I'm hoping to resolve that this week. But, that's just a goal, not quite a habit.

Sooo, what should this weeks new habit be?
Been thinking about it and I've decided to go with clearing off the dryer at the end of the day. I am doing OK with this (depends on the week to be honest). But, this next week I want to make sure my laundry is under control and one of the best ways for me to do this is to reduce the visual clutter that stays on the top of the dryer & washer. It makes throwing in a load so much more appealing. Especially when there is clothes on the washing machine. Ugh. Who wants to take the time first to clear off the washer, then throw the clothes in. If I just clear it off right away, then I don't have to worry. The Washer & Dryer are all set to do their job!

Good habit to work on. I seem to have the habit of folding towels and tablecloths as soon as they're dry but pile them onto the dryer so they fall over when I have to reach around them to start it. Then I have to refold them, etc.

I find having a clear dryer top is a tremendous help to me too. It seems to cut through the mental clutter somehow! :)

Congrats on the A! I agree, having your bed made makes the whole room feel better and brighter.
