I know I don't have any readers, but...

I'm asking anyway.

Is it really valid for me to be so tired when it's only from emotions? What I mean is when I'm just emotionally overloaded and my body does not want to move and my mind is numb, is there a way to stay motivated? I can barely make it through the mundane tasks. I really just want to sit and stare at a wall. Sometimes I allow myself to do just that. No one died. There's nothing horrific going on here, just a few decisions. Nothing big. But, they seem to take every ounce of energy I have. Is that really strange? And, does anyone have any suggestions to cope during times like this?

Just thinking outloud here.
Any thoughts back?

what do you mean you ain't got no readers? i got you on my bloglines reader account.
And there is an easy way to get out of the doldrums. (ok...it aint easy) Find the hardest philosophy or theology book you can lay your hands on. Then study it. HA! It worked for me one time. I read Charles Hodge's chapter on the different theories of sin. I kinda got lost in it and forgot my troubles. definitely unorthodox.....but hey....if it works for you why not?

Mercy,
I know exactly what you are feeling right now. We are going through a major crisis in our extended family and sometimes I think it is more than I can take.
I am really growing through this trial and it hurts bad.
Focus on God's promises. "he will never leave you or forsake you.", "God's mercies are new every morning." "He will not allow you to be consumed." "He will not give you more than you can handle." "All things work together for the good of those who love him."
Please email me if you want to talk more.
Here is a good series to listen to if you want. http://www.gbfchurch.net/audio

How funny! I didn't expect anyone to comment, let alone have two right after eachother! I haven't gotten a whole lot of comments lately so I sometimes feel like I'm talking to myself.

Heather,
That's how I keep up with my blogs too! If it weren't for my bloglines account I'd forget where to go. I just had to laugh at your advice. I have to say I have never tried that one. The thought of it at first made my brain go kind of nutty, but hey you may be right it will put my brain power on other things, right? :-)

Kimm,

Thank you so much for your kindness. I almost feel foolish for feeling so "overwhelmed with emotion." As I mentioned there is nothing major, as in someone dying or anything of that nature. Just stuff. I will crank up the computer tomorrow and listen to the sermon you recomended. And thank you especially for reminding me that remembering God's promises can bring about some amazing miracles!

Thanks so much for your cyber friendships.

I'm so glad you are doing better. Sometimes us pregnant and post partum moms can get a little mixed up with our feelings because of hormones. I seriously struggle with emotions when I am pregnant The thing that has helped me the most is to learn to recognize when it is hormones and tell myself not to trust my feelings and go by what I know is true. My hubs just posted on that and I am working on one too.
The only reason that I have so much to say about this is because it happens a lot to me.
I hope you have a good week.

Love in CHrist,
Kimm

Hi,
believe me ( I have 4 children) this kind of mood is normal.. Just buy some dark chocolate and try to do a nap in the afternoon. For the rest, just try to cope with it...
Good wishes from the Neterlands,
Mama Lieveheersbeestje.
