I know, the year has begun already and some may be tired of hearing the same ol thing about "bringing in the new year" with goals and resolutions. But, I just read this and it resonated within me to bring myself into focus for the year.
It is such a neat concept!
Here's how it works, you pick one word to remind you of your intention for the year.
You will need to read more about it here, because she explains it much better than I can.
So, what's my word?
PASSION!
Somehow in my life (in all areas of my life) I have found myself entirely too complacent. My fire and flame has dwindled. I want to be more alive. I want to be willing to go beyond my comfort zone, because I desire something beyond the norm. I want zeal again!
Passion for Jesus.
Passion for the lost.
Passion for my family.
Passion for life.
What do you think?
Can you think of a word that would sum up your desire for this year?
(My second choice would be hope, because this past year I have learned a lot about the importance of hope in my life. Or surrender because without giving everything you have to give, there is no purpose in life. Or...Ok, I'll just stick with my word I chose. lol.)

I'll have to think about this one.
O.k. I think maybe my word will be desire. Is that a good one? I don't make resolutions but I like this. I was thinking about all the resolutions I've been reading about and how all that I care to do this year is to know God more than last year. That's more important than anything in my life. To desire God.
