It's a dirty job, but...

I've got to do it!
My sweet husband does a lot. He works hard at his job to provide. And, he listens to me when I'm emotional. He loves his children. He's the shopper because he's great with numbers & he can spot a sale a whole lot better than I can. He makes dinner on occasion without complaint. And a whole lot more. He's MY man. And, I love him dearly. But, he does not do laundry. He did it for the first time last month, probably since we were married. And, actually he did a great job. But, the laundry is my job. If I died, I sometimes wonder if it would really get done. In time my children will be trained, but for now, it's mostly me. And I can sometimes be at that washer & dryer all day & night. That's the way I'm feeling right now. I'm married to those things.

So, if you're looking for me, check the press cycle. I just may be swirling around in there...

What a fun blog! I love your sense of humour. I'm actually sitting here reading your blog while I should be putting dishes away and tidying up the living room...but I shall get to it, after this comment! Praise God for contentment in homekeeping! We have JOY because of Him. My husband told me yesterday that He loves it when I smile! So, on top of doing his laundry, I am purposing to smile more for him!

Thanks for a fun read! And, WHAT a testimony... God is so good. By the way, I found you through Kimm's blog!

Hi Julie-anne,

Nice to meet you! I have to say, it's amazing I have any sense of humor. By nature I am very serious & way too deep. My husband is the one who keeps me laughing. It's actually because of a recent prayer that I have been able to keep laughter in my life. God answers prayers, even those little small ones. :-D

And, yes, I am still amazed at some of those testimonies. Especially that last one that happened to me while I was on my trip. I am wondering though, if she had come in the middle of the week to my home, while I was struggling in my housework (which I often do!) would I still have been a testimony? Yikes!

Thanks for reading!!

Hi Mercy!

I had been reading some of the comments on Candy's blog and saw yours & thought I'd pop in to say, "Hello!"

Great testimony!

I got a real chuckle out of the tag in the jeans!

Don't have much time!
God bless!
