Today I am working feverishly to get my grandpa's book published. I am doing an undercover work & I'm hoping to present it to him on his birthday which is Apr 14th. SO, needless to say, the beautiful house I once had is slowly getting worse & so are my children's attitudes. But, I AM making progress & it will be such a gift. (at least I'm hoping it will be!)
This is my first book I will have published & Lulu (http://lulu.com) makes it seem pretty easy. SO, I'm off to become a publishing wiz. :-D

Made me cry! finally got back into my blog account. first tim scince the crash. couldn't remember the adyy!
Ever seen anyone dance or be slain in the spirit?
Like making you cry right now is all that tough! :-D
Actually I haven't. When I first got saved I talked at length with an older lady who went to that type of church and I've heard accounts of people talking about being slain in the spirit, but I just don't see anything biblical about it. What about you? What's your thoughts? Do you guys do those things at your church? If so, I'm never talking to you again. JUST KIDDING! :-D I thank God for people(when I say people here, I do mean you) who are willing to discuss the truth and search in honesty.
I believe when David danced before the Lord as the ark came into Jerusalem he was dancing in the spirit. I don't recall anywhere it mentions being slain, but neither does it mention God healing cars and computers and I have had that done. I have seen both many times growing up, though our church hasn't ever had it happen. not out of policy, we are just more quiet than that. I don't think anyone there would object. :-)
I was hoping when I wrote about making you cry you didn't get upset because I didn't intend it to be so unfeeling. I had to chuckle though, because I just imagined preggo you when you said that. :-D
And, it's true I HAVE read about people dancing for God, but boy I just don't know if it should be the "thing" to do in church, if you know what I mean. It just could get a bit weird. And, I'm not sure if it's God's nature to "knock people out". It just doesn't seem right. And since I don't see anything about it in scripture (except when He came to Paul, but that's a little different)I get a little leary. BUT, I have had people SAY things about it (that I trust) that make me kind of wonder...
I don't see the need for either one, necessarily. So, I personally opt out. Well, I could see me dancing for joy if God moved mightily on my behalf.
Oh well...anyway...
