Back to normal, whatever that is.

I'm ready to tackle some of those chores that I've had on my mind for awhile. But, like I said, I don't think I'll be able to accomplish all that I had intended to do this week. Today, I will start small. I think I'll get under the bathroom sink, pull everything out, and put it away correctly. Hopefully do a little decluttering and make it so everything has a place. Maybe for you, your bathroom isn't small...mine is just a few small cupboards. Maybe (with spring here and everything) you've got a bit of the bug too? Start with just one cupboard. For me, when I do one it just starts the momentum and I have a really hard time stopping. Once I start today I will probably move into the laundry room cupboards. For some reason, I always start with the cupboards. There are plenty of big projects to tackle, but if my insides aren't cleaned out I don't feel right. Maybe it's symbolic of my relationship with Jesus? I'm itching to get things in order around here though. I don't know when exactly God will give us the new home, but I do know it is coming. So, I need to keep myself organized enough that when the time comes to move, I'll be ready. :-)

For some motivation in organizing I lead you to some really nice sites:
Organized Junkie: I like her a lot. Her site has so many important posts about organizing. She reminded me the other day, when you decide to organize, the best way to do it is to take everything out first. Then you are more likely to not put as much back in. Read her PROCESS post on the side of her blog.
Marcia's Organising: She has several blogs and they are all really informative. Check those out too.
My Simpler Life : Just found her. She has a great calendar and a daily reminder to form a habit. Most of her services are for a fee, but she does have a blog and some other goodies too.

There are more. Lots more out there. These are just the ones I happen to have been looking at recently. If I decide to delve into some other sites while I'm on my organizing journey, I'll let you know of them. :-D

I'm off to stick my head under the bathroom sink...I'll see you later if I ever get out from under there...Some go in, but some never come out...It's a dangerous place...I must be brave.

I would like to get more organized myself...I have a tendency to go for the insides, too. But for now, I have to do what is visible, so I am more inspired to delve in to the darkness of the closets.

On a heavier note, I just popped over to Tiany's blog and she said that Heather over at Especially Heather just found out that she has a brain tumor. I just posted the links over at my blog and I am asking all to pray.

Prayerfully,
Heather

Thank you so much for your kind words. I really do appreciate them. I don't ever want to come across as a know it all but just someone in the trenches like everyone else and if I help someone along the way then that is the icing on the cake!
Thanks for coming by!
