Life update

So, I quit.

Swimming lessons that is!

I am so excited for this summer. Although this week has been just as busy as it was when we were doing the swimming lesson thing twice a week. Two straight years we've been going. Ahh, it feels sooo good to be free! :-D

My biggest reason why I've decided to quit is that I was not available in the evenings most of the time when my husband would get home. That's just not what I want for my home. I need to be here, waiting anxiously for my man!

Hopefully that takes a little bit of stress off of our family to enjoy our life together as a family here at home. That's the plan.

Saturday is the big celebration for the swimming boy. He's really good to be honest. Enough to make you feel like you're doing the wrong thing, but we're not. (wink) Anyway, both grandparents and his cousins will be at the pizza place to surprise him after his last lesson. Then we will have give him a little something to say we're proud of all you've accomplished and present him with a trophy! Truth is when we first started two years ago, he was deathly afraid of the water, now he has mastered with excellence all four strokes! So, he really deserves a little party.

That's the big thing going on. Lots of little things. I watched a friends two boys today. One is my son's age (7) and the other is 1 year, just young enough that my 2yo daughter thought she could mother him. It was so cute to watch! I had a really great day with them.

Oh, and we're contacting a midwife to talk about the possibility of me having a baby! Oooh, I'm not pregnant yet, but hoping to be soon. Please pray for us as we need the Lord to be with us in this endeavor.

Hope your life is going great...mine sure is.

Congratulations! On quitting swimming lessons that is! Sometimes we can burden ourselves with so many things to do that we forget what is important to us...our family.

As far as the torn placenta you asked about...don't know the answer to that. The only thing that I could think of was the possibility of doing too much and causing it to tear...but no one really knows (except God).

Great to hear from you again! I have missed your posts!

Blessings!
