And life comes crashing down...

I just sat and wrote 2 pages of to do's and questions I have going on right now. Including the following list:

Homeschooling
Midwife/Doctor issue
Thanksgiving
weekend trip, mil birthday gift
Christmas
Son's 8th birthday
baby prep.

I tried to break it down so that I could actually begin to deal with some of this stuff! We have put off Christmas totally (not unlike us!!) so it will all come down at crunch time. I'm taking on for the very first time a thanksgiving dinner, of course I'm pregnant (just in case you didn't know here) and I don't know what I'm thinking. I am trying to figure out the best way to handle the news I found out from the ultrasound. I can see now (after writing a bit out) what I can do to keep up with our schooling at least for the next few weeks. I have a feeling I'll be working SLOWLY through the holiday's. Hopefully I won't need too much of a break with baby, but hey if I do I do, right?

I could go on. But, you get the point. My brain was crashing. :-)

Lists are a wonderful tool though I'm telling you. I feel very refreshed after putting it all down in an organized fashion so that I can actually get to the point I can DO something about some of these things.

How are your holiday's coming along? Just don't make it sound like you're too organized or else I might not want to be your friend anymore. I am SO just joking there. I do sincerely hope that you have your holidays together more than I, because I don't wish this anguish on anyone. Thankfully I have Jesus to keep me in line!!

I make out lists when things seem to become too much for me, too. I always feel better after writing one out. Hope things get better for you!
