Spent some time this morning going over some flash cards with my almost 2 year old. SHE LOVED IT!! And, how smart she is! Oh kay, I'm a little bit bias in my opinion. But, it's amazing what these little ones can learn. And, she felt so big doing "school" while her brother was working on his work. Not to mention the fun that I had watching her try to say the number 11. :-D So, while you're working with your older children, do not neglect to teach the younger. You are establishing habits for them as they grow into their school years. It only takes a few minutes and you find yourself relating on a whole new level.

Thanks, I needed that reminder. I tend to focus on the children that are older to try to complete a subject and forget my littles sometimes.
I think I am just a little overwhelmed with it all. Half of my children are school age and half are preschool/nursey age, that is 3 of each.
But one thing I am amazed with is how well my almost two year old plays with legos. I am watching her right now and I can't believe how well she is doing with them! They are definitely keeping her preoccupied for the moment!
