Gentle Reminders

I am completely serious about this...

I know you have thought about it...

And what an ingenious idea it is...

Think about it:
You record yourself in your most loving, tender, caring voice saying those things that you say a BAZILLION times per day in your home. All you have to do is press play. Over and over... Awe, the very thought just makes me smile. :-D

Sometimes to one individual in particular, if you know what I mean. That one, who is aimlessly daydreaming all the day long, who every time you turn around is doing something they should not be doing. Oh yes, they need more than a reminder, they need to be trained consistently...

I'd love to keep my cool as they hear, yet again..."my child, keep on task." "Do your schoolwork, honey." "Are you doing what I've asked you darling?" etc., etc., etc.

I'm seriously thinking about it...
I really am.

While I'm at it, I probably should make one for myself as well...hmm...

Are you sure you weren't at my house today? Thank you for your gentle reminder to keep my cool. I struggle daily with keeping those daydreamers on task, yet, "Do I get distracted?" YES!!!

And by the way, I am on my way to recovery. Thank you for your prayers! Yesterday was the hardest day, due to a fever. When I get a fever, I get a horrible headache and I can't sleep. It finally broke just before bedtime last night. Praise the LORD!!! And when my daughter needed me at 2:30 a.m. this morning, I was able to take care of her. She had an earache. Now all that needs to go is the green nasal discharge, the sinus pressure, the earache(caused by sinus pressure, & the cough.

It is much easier to sympathize with your children, when you are going through the same thing!

Blessings!
